Oasis Eco is a subsidiary company of “Oasis” a well reputed name is the field of horticulture and garden service in
Sri Lanka.

“Oasis” counts more than a half a century of continued service and is the pioneer nurserymen in the city of Colombo and a leading merchant in tropical seeds and plants .

The roots of Oasis can be traced to early 1940’s when a Greek National .
Late Mr. John Cosmos founded the “Oasis” nurseries . In 1946 , the late Mr. A H W De Silva became the Sole Proprietor of this business which recommenced at its present location .

Being a family business , consequent to the death of Mr. De Silva , his children took over the business in a partnership. Thereafter a Private Company was established to manage the business in the name of “Oasis (Private) Ltd”. Today the grand son ( A Prabath de Silva ) has become a director of the company to enhance the business activities using his own thinking methods while maintaining environment friendly concept . Mr. Prabath brought the new technology to the business and expecting to improve the business through the overseas market .

In keeping with the growing global demand , we have now ventured out to the area of export , particularly to the Middle East and Asian Markets . This we have done , after gaining the local market leadership.

Mr. A Sarath de Silva – Director
He is a Senior professionally qualified Banker . He provides the management and financial expertise to the business operations .

Mr. A Prabath de Silva – Director
With 5 ½ years experience in the executive level in a merchant bank, Mr. Prabath specialized the management skill. He has widely traveled internationally and has gained the knowledge of E-commerce in Australia. In 2002, he formed a company ( SIPNY Trading Co. Pvt Ltd ) to import computers from Australia, within 6 months that business diversified to another two new natures of businesses as a computer institute and supply of electronic items.
